Jolly Lamplighters

Meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  Fellowship, meal, Bible Study, and excellent programs.

 

Men’s Breakfast

Meets every Thursday at 8:00 a.m.  at the Englewood Café, 10904 East Winner Road.  Enjoy breakfast and fellowship with the other men.

 

Women’s Knitting/Crocheting Ministry

Meets each Tuesday in Maywood Baptist lounge at 1:00 p.m.  Make socks and hats for the homeless and have a great time doing it.

 

Senior Adult Bible Conference

Conferences are held annually at Maywood featuring outstanding Christian speakers.  State and national level conferences are made available as well.

 

    Men’s Construction Group

Join senior adult men using skills learned in a lifetime.  Construction projects  include helping other senior adults with minor home repairs, repairs at the church,  and other mission-related projects.  Contact the church office (254-3344) if you  are willing to serve.

 

Women’s Mission Organizations

Meets at 10:00 a.m. the first Thursday of each month in Maywood’s Fellowship Hall.   Meetings include a program, prayer, and lunch.

 

Senior Adult Visitation Ministry

Quarterly visits are made to Monterey Park Nursing Center to provide literature, encouragement,  and prayer to seniors who are unable to travel to church.

 

Bus Tours/Outings

Trips to Branson, Carthage, and Pella, Iowa are among the bus trips that the Jolly Lamplighters make.  Trips are made in the most modern, comfortable tour buses. Other events include day trips, Plaza lights, museums, and cultural activities.
