Christmas 2017

On Saturday, December 23, 2017 we had a Christmas dinner in the Fellowship Hall and served approximately 100 people.  Other ministries volunteered their time too and provided gift bags for our homeless friends at the dinner.  We received enough donations that not only were we able to purchase all of the food for the dinner, but we were also able to buy gifts so that each child who attended, received about 5 gifts.  There were enough gifts that one of our homeless friends was able to take some with her to give to her grandchildren for Christmas.

The whole day was charged with the Holy Spirit for sure.  Every second of the day was blessed.  As planned, we had more than enough food so our homeless friends could take food back to their camps for their friends who couldn’t attend the dinner.  It was heartwarming and an absolute delight to see them all receive gift bags to open for Christmas.  We saw many faces light up with huge smiles.  It was also heartwarming to see kids pick out their gifts from under the tree.

This whole day is owed to our amazing God.  He provided everything.  All of the Hands and Feet of Jesus that showed up to volunteer their time and money gave many people a Christmas that they will always remember.  Thank you and God bless all of you!
